PCA POTOMAC FUN RUN
OKTOBERFEST 2024 & National Museum of the Marine Corps
Join us this Sunday, 22 September for an OKTOBERFEST Fun Run. This hour-long event originates from the National Marine Corps Museum in Triangle, VA where you can enjoy an optional self-guided Museum Tour before departing on a scenic drive through the back roads of Prince William County Virginia. Event destination is the 2 Silos Brewing Company, host of the annual OKTOBERFEST gathering that celebrates German culture, locally crafted German style beer, authentic German fare, music, and activities. https://2silosbrewing.com/Oktoberfest
This event is open to the public…Porsches are preferred but all German cars are welcome to participate.
WHEN and WHERE
- Assembly Point: National Museum of the Marine Corps, 1775 Semper Fidelis Wy, Triangle, VA 22172
- When: Sunday, September 22, at 09:00 AM (Museum Tour)
- Driver’s Meeting: 10:30 AM
- Departure: First cars off at 11:00 AM
- Destination: 2 Silos Brewing Company, 9925 Discovery Blvd, Manassas, VA 20109
- Distance: Approximately 35 miles
- Drive ETA: Approximately 60 minutes
- Cost: $10 per vehicle participating in the drive. There is no cost for entrance into the museum or 2 Silos.
The primary member will be electronically provided the latest Drive & Dine Rules, maps, and directions which you will be responsible for printing as needed by 6pm on Saturday Sept 21.
Event requirements
REGISTRATION
- We will notify you of your status by email. You are responsible for updating your profile information in MotorsportReg to include your current contact and billing information.
- We initially list all registrants as “New” for this event. We will provide formal notification of acceptance into an event by email prior to an event. If you have not received any notification, check the MSR website for your status.
- This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be issued.
- There will be a $10 fee (per vehicle) for this event. Members will pay for their own food & beverages at the event venue.
- Your credit card will be charged immediately upon registration confirmation.
- All participants must attend the Drivers Briefing at the assembly point.
SPEEDWAIVER- All participants, including drivers and guests, must agree to and sign the electronic SpeedWaiver form.
- The primary member will receive a text message to complete a virtual waiver via their smartphone.
- Additional passengers can complete the speed waiver using the following link: https://pcapotomacdd.speedwaiver.com/pjikq.
- For children riding along on the scenic drive, you must also complete this form: Minor_and_Parent_Form-WAIVER-PCA2009 (2).pdf. Bring the completed form with you to the event or email it to the event host.
Note: Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase at the venue after the driving portion of this event has concluded. You must be 21 yrs old or older to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly and do not drink and drive
